PuffTap ("we", "us", "our") is a vaping-cessation app built to replace the vaping habit loop with a guided gesture routine. This policy explains what information PuffTap collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
PuffTap is a self-help and habit-tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional. If you are experiencing a health emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Stored on your device only. The details you enter during setup — your name, quit-vaping habit details (cost per device, puffs per device, frequency), craving/trigger logs, streaks, session history, and app preferences — are saved locally in your device's browser storage. We do not receive or store this information on our servers unless described below.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or tracking networks in PuffTap.
Your habit and progress data lives in local storage on your device and stays there until you clear it yourself (via "Reset all data" in Settings) or clear your browser/app storage. Uninstalling the app removes this data. Data sent for a trigger report or a Stripe checkout is transmitted securely (HTTPS) and is not retained by us beyond what's needed to complete that request.
Because most of your data stays on your device, you control it directly — you can review, edit, or delete it at any time in Settings. To ask about any data we do briefly process (subscription records, support emails), or to request deletion of anything associated with your account, contact us at the address below.
PuffTap is intended for adults (18+) seeking to quit or reduce vaping. It is not directed at, and should not be used by, children.
We may update this policy as PuffTap changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
